Care for your Declan product

As you use your Declan product, hopefully one day you will think, "I remove a lot of moderately gross stuff from my phone with this, which is super cool, but shouldn't I wash this thing?" Here's what you need to do when you start asking questions.
  • Hand Wash

This is our go to method for washing Declan. The easiest way to go about this is to wet your Declan in the sink with some warm water, put some soap in your hand and go to town. You don't need much soap. Rinse your Declan, pat dry with a towel, and let it air dry on a rack, line, whatever you've got. You'll be surprised by the renewed, if not improved efficacy of Declan.
  • Machine Wash

While any of our products are technically machine washable, we don't recommend doing so with the thinner fabrics (M120 and M140). These have a more delicate finish and the sewing can be damaged by an aggressive wash cycle. If you choose to machine wash your Declan never use bleach or fabric softener. Hang drying Declan is best, but dryers are cool, too.
  • Iron

Declan products are made from synthetic fibers and should be treated with care should you feel the need to iron. Use a low heat to avoid damaging Declan.
